Independence Notice: RiseCreditApp.com is an independent review website. We are not affiliated with Rise Credit, Elevate Credit, Inc., or any of their subsidiaries. We may receive compensation through affiliate links, which never influences our editorial conclusions.

Our Mission

RiseCreditApp.com was created with a simple mission: to give borrowers honest, complete information about Rise Credit personal loans so they can make truly informed decisions.

The subprime lending space is full of confusing APR jargon, buried fees, and marketing designed to minimize the real cost of borrowing. We cut through that. Our reviews call out high rates directly, flag alternatives when they exist, and never recommend a product just because it pays a higher affiliate commission.

How We Score Lenders

Every lender review on RiseCreditApp.com receives a final score on a 5-point scale. That score is the weighted average of six category sub-scores. We publish the weights so readers can see exactly how we got to each rating:

Each category is scored 1.0 to 5.0 based on objective benchmarks compared against the median lender in the same product category. A lender that scores 3.0 across the board lands at 3.0 — exactly average for its category. Subprime lenders are benchmarked only against other subprime lenders, not against prime-credit alternatives.

How Often We Update Content

Personal lending is a fast-changing industry. State APR caps shift, lenders enter and exit markets, bank-partnership arrangements change, and APR ranges are updated by lenders themselves several times per year. Our update cadence reflects this:

Affiliate Compensation Policy

We want to be explicit about how this site is funded. RiseCreditApp.com earns affiliate commissions when readers submit loan inquiries through our embedded application form (which routes through APIdiamond.com) or click affiliate-tagged links to partner lenders. We never receive payment from Rise Credit, Elevate Credit, Inc., or any of their direct subsidiaries.

Three rules govern how affiliate compensation interacts with our editorial work:

  1. Editorial scores are written and approved before any affiliate relationship is finalized. We will not raise a score in exchange for compensation.
  2. If we cannot in good conscience recommend a lender to a category of borrowers, we will say so even if that lender is one of our highest-paying partners.
  3. We disclose affiliate compensation clearly on every page that contains affiliate links, in accordance with FTC 16 CFR Part 255 endorsement guidelines.
